What's new

Synder now supports QuickBooks Online Custom Dimensions, Projects, and Extended Custom Fields, including customers using Intuit Enterprise Suite.

Why it matters

Intuit Enterprise Suite gives businesses richer categorization and tracking with multi-dimension reporting and project-level analysis. With this update, Synder can sync ecommerce and payment data directly into these fields.

How you can use it

  • Connect your QuickBooks Online / Intuit Enterprise Suite company during onboarding
  • Request Synder onboarding team to set up Custom Dimensions, Projects, and Extended Custom Fields
  • Apply these mappings automatically to synced transactions
Availability: Per Transaction + RevRec + Smart Rules Accounting: QuickBooks Online

What's new

Smart Rules now support Journal Entries created by Revenue Recognition in Per Transaction syncs.

Why it matters

Smart Rules let you automatically apply classes, locations, and accounts to RevRec Journal Entry lines as they sync. This gives you consistent, line-level categorization without manual follow-up.

How you can use it

  • Go to Smart Rules → Rules → Create rule
  • Create a Smart Rule with trigger Journal Entry → Created
  • Set conditions based on line account, description, or memo
  • Apply actions such as updating the class, location, or account
Availability: Per Transaction Accounting: QuickBooks Online, Xero Integrations: Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, eBay, Ecwid, Wix, Squarespace, Braintree

What's new

You can now control which ecommerce platforms are used when Synder searches for linked orders during smart reconciliation.

Why it matters

Ecommerce flow settings give you control over how transactions are enriched with order data, ensuring they're matched to the correct store and order details.

How you can use it

  • Go to Settings and open Ecommerce flow settings
  • Enable or disable payment processors for each ecommerce platform
  • Click Save to apply changes
Availability: Summary Sync, Per Transaction Accounting: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Puzzle Integrations: Stripe

What's new

Stripe introduced the ability to manually detach payments from invoices and re-attach them to other invoices directly in Stripe.

Why it matters

Manual detaching or re-attaching of payments in Stripe isn't currently supported by Synder and can lead to skipped records or incorrect Accounts Receivable balances after sync.

If you detach or re-attach payments in Stripe, Synder will not reflect those changes automatically. You'll need to manually review and adjust affected invoices and payments in your accounting system.
Availability: Summary Sync, Per Transaction Accounting: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Puzzle Integrations: Klarna

What's new

Synder now supports Klarna by importing settlement-level payouts and syncing them with a detailed breakdown of sales, refunds, fees, taxes, and adjustments.

Why it matters

Klarna payouts combine multiple orders into a single settlement, which makes manual accounting time-consuming. This integration records Klarna activity with clear line-level detail.

How you can use it

  • Go to Organization settings → + Add integration
  • Connect Klarna using API credentials and select your region
  • Import settlement payouts for a selected date range

What's new

You can now control whether the recognized revenue by Entry CSV is generated and attached for Revenue Recognition periods.

Why it matters

Automatically attaching CSV files isn't always necessary and can increase API usage and storage load. This update lets you control when attachments are included.

How you can use it

  • Go to Revenue Recognition → Configuration → Recognition settings
  • Enable the setting "Attach csv to Recognition entry"
  • Changing the setting applies only to future periods
Availability: Per Transaction Accounting: QuickBooks Online, Xero

What's new

Per Transaction product mappings can now be exported to a single CSV file.

Why it matters

Large product catalogs were harder to review in bulk. CSV export makes it easier to spot unmapped products, validate existing mappings, and prepare updates offline.

How you can use it

  • Go to Settings → Product mapping → Map products
  • Click Export to CSV
  • Review mapped and unmapped products in one file
Availability: Summary Sync Accounting: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Puzzle

What's new

Summary Sync mappings can now be exported to CSV.

Why it matters

For organizations with many summary lines, reviewing mappings only in the UI wasn't always practical. CSV export makes it easier to validate grouping logic, account assignments, and tracking settings.

Availability: Summary Sync, Per Transaction Accounting: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Puzzle

What's new

You can now connect the same integration account (for example, Stripe or Shopify) to multiple Synder organizations simultaneously.

Why it matters

You can now maintain separate live and test organizations, compare Summary Sync and Per Transaction, apply Revenue Recognition in one organization but not another.

Connecting the same integration to multiple organizations can slow down imports.

Availability: Summary Sync, Per Transaction Integrations: TikTok

What's new

Synder now offers a TikTok Statement integration alongside the existing TikTok order-level sync. This new option imports settled TikTok statements and creates one summarized accounting entry per statement.

Why it matters

TikTok's order-level data is detailed and changes frequently, which can make reconciliation difficult. Statements are finalized and contain clean totals for each settlement period.

If you import the same period using both the regular TikTok integration and TikTok Statement mode, you will create duplicates. Choose one method per period.
Availability: Summary Sync

What's new

Why it matters

This update ensures totals from Synder match TikTok's settlement_amount, which helps prevent failed syncs and reduces manual corrections.

What's new

You can now sync Faire activity as payments only, without creating invoices or credit notes.

Why it matters

This option gives you a simpler, cash-only workflow for Faire. It helps if you prefer to manage invoices directly in your accounting system.

What's new

Summary Sync now includes access to your Chart of Accounts and Synder's Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reports.

Why it matters

These additions give you a clearer view of how your Summary data is structured and help you prepare for reconciliation and reporting before syncing.

What's new

The Sync Log now shows Sync Time — a detailed breakdown of how long each part of the sync process takes.

Why it matters

This helps you understand what affects your sync speed and what you can adjust to make syncing faster.

What's new

You can now choose whether Faire payments and fees should post using the Payout date or the Payment date.

Why it matters

Different dating methods support different workflows. Payout date is best for reconciliation; Payment date tracks when money was actually received.

What's new

Product Mapping now has a redesigned interface and supports bulk CSV import and export.

Why it matters

You can now update large catalogs faster, reduce "product not found" sync errors, and manage missing mappings more easily.

What's new

A new setting lets you pick between the Created date and the Balance date for Stripe transactions.

Why it matters

Using the Balance date can make your reconciliation more accurate, especially at month end.

What's new

The Debits and credits report by accounting category in RevRec now includes Customer name and Customer ID columns.

Why it matters

You can now analyze recognized revenue by customer before syncing to your books. Names help review quickly; IDs give consistent identifiers for audits.

What's new

You can now create Groups using Product name and Product SKU conditions for more control over journal line grouping.

Why it matters

You can group lines by keywords in the product name or by patterns in the SKU, even before those items appear in Summary.

What's new

Synder now fully processes PayPal dispute events — including openings, updates, holds, reversals, and resolutions.

Why it matters

Disputes affect your PayPal balance, payouts, and revenue accuracy. Synder now records dispute holds and reversals directly into your clearing workflow.

What's new

You now have a Notification Center inside Synder. It shows important system messages right in the app.

Why it matters

It's easy to miss platform-disconnection emails. The Notification Center gives you a clear in-app record of every important alert.

What's new

You can now control how Synder searches for existing products in QuickBooks Online before creating new ones.

Why it matters

This helps you avoid unwanted duplicates, prevent "Duplicate Name Exists" errors, and reduce "product not found" cancellations.

What's new

You can now see debits and credits both in the source currency and in your accounting home currency inside the Summary Sync Register.

Why it matters

Previously, the Register only showed source currency amounts. Now you can review both values in one place, making reconciliation faster.

What's new

You can now click the transaction totals inside the Import activity log to see exactly which transactions were included in each import.

Why it matters

This makes it easier to review what was brought in during each import and quickly spot if something is missing.

What's new

You can now use Synder with Puzzle as your accounting system. Synder posts Journal Entries that follow Puzzle's posting and voiding rules.

Why it matters

If you run your books in Puzzle, you now have an automated way to bring ecommerce data into your general ledger without creating entries by hand.

What's new

You can now use Revenue Recognition together with Summary Sync on all supported accounting platforms — Xero, Sage Intacct, and Oracle NetSuite.

Why it matters

This allows ASC-606/IFRS-compliant revenue schedules while still posting in grouped summaries, across every major accounting system.

What's new

You can now map multiple Summary lines at once using a single modal with more mapping fields.

Why it matters

If your mappings include dozens or thousands of lines, this update helps you set everything up faster and avoid repetitive edits.

What's new

You can now use the "Sync discounts as products" setting for all providers, not just Stripe, WooCommerce, and Shopify.

Why it matters

This gives you full control over how discounts appear in accounting. It improves reporting consistency, especially when grouping by SKU.
